Dr. Vanessa Fabienne Abegg joins the Bioanalytics Group for her postdoc
Vanessa recently completed her PhD at University of Basel
Dr. Vanessa Fabienne Abegg received her PhD from the University of Basel in 2022. Her thesis “safety assessment of herbal drugs as an alternative to treat non-psychotic mental diseases during pregnancy” was supervised by Prof. em. Matthias Hamburger. Vanessa’s main passion are drug related toxicological research topics with a special focus on mitochondria. She brings experience in method development (mass spectrometry), cell work, and animal studies to the Bioanalytics Group.
