Sebastian is joining Bioanalytics Group for his PhD

Sebastian Bargfrede completed his Master in Biochemistry at the University of Cologne in 2023. In his thesis, he analyzed the 3D structure and function of a putative Pro-Pro-endopeptidase from C. difficile, which was supervised by Prof. Ulrich Baumann. Sebastian gained insights into microfluidics, 3D printing, and laboratory equipment engineering during his studies, and previous employment at the Cologne Excellence Cluster for Aging-associated Disease.
